Meet Willow — The Sweetest Comeback Story You’ll Ever Meet!

Willow is a one-year-old golden retriever puppy with the heart of a survivor and the soul of a snuggle bunny. When she arrived, she was 25–30 pounds underweight from severe neglect, yet somehow, she still greeted the world with love, trust, and a wagging tail. Today, Willow is gaining weight, healing beautifully, and ready for the forever family who will love her as fiercely as she loves them.

Willow’s Personality:

3.  Moderate energy with fun zoomies because… she’s a puppy!

In the Home: Willow is a dream. She’s well-behaved, eager to please, and happiest snuggled right by your side. She gets a few silly zoomies, but only the joyful, “life is good now” kind. She’s house-trained, learning crate comfort, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, come, and more. She walks well on leash and is learning that adventures are safe and fun.

Special Notes: Because she was once starved, Willow gets excited about food, but she shows no aggression. She allows her foster to place a hand in her bowl calmly, though this shouldn’t be tested by younger kids. With routine and reassurance, she continues to improve every day.
