Iddy's journey began when he was discovered abandoned by a stop sign in a remote area where houses are few and far between. After the kind lady that noticed him she talked to some neighbors, it became clear he had been there for four days. When I went to check on him, he slowly crawled towards me, wagging his tail as I petted him, and then he wrapped his paws around me in a heartfelt hug, as if to say, "Thank you, thank you! Please help me!" I knew in that moment I couldn't leave him behind.
