Meet Java!
"Hi my name is “Java”.. funny story, that name… the 2 humans that rescued me on 7/9/24 from my horrible situation made a stop, on their way back to Summit’s Sanctuary, in the pouring rain/lightning to get a cup of coffee.. who does that on a July afternoon? They never told that story.. yet, I was named JAVA. Am like coffee.. I WAS bitter and untouchable (because I was abused, sick and starving) but NOW am sweet and smooth because I know love, health, and comfort.. my foster family has exposed me to a group of 4 “best buddy dogs”, FREEDOM, food and love. I hate being in a kennel.. I will cry and dig out. I LOVE being with a family and I am timid, but will quickly adapt to everything and everyone. I love you to hug, pet and cuddle me.. but please let me come to you .. as am still a little scared. Am 9 months old and 35 pounds. Am “mostly” house trained and know how to go in/out dog door. I know “sit” and “down” (that means lay down) and I like my the treats I get for doing a good job. Am a really good girl who just needs a good home, patience, and love."
